Zachary Carr, FNP-C Joins Memorial Gastroenterology

Nurse Practitioner Zachary Carr has joined Jonathan Dowd, M.D., Ashok Kapur, M.D., and Michael Monzel, M.D. at Memorial Gastroenterology, located in Suite 220 of the Medical Arts Building, 721 W. 13^th Street, Jasper, IN.

Zachary received his associate’s degree in nursing at Pellissippi State Community College in Knoxville, TN and his bachelor’s degree in nursing at South College in Knoxville, TN. He earned his master’s degree in nursing at Chamberlain University in Chicago, IL. Zachary began working as a registered nurse in 2020 at Deaconess Health System in cardiac renal care and dialysis. He then provided care as a family nurse practitioner at Evansville Primary Care since 2024.

Memorial Gastroenterology, in conjunction with Deaconess Gastroenterology, provides outpatient consultative and endoscopy services at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center. Endoscopic services include diagnostic and routine colonoscopy and esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD). Conditions treated include diarrhea, diverticulosis/diverticulitis, dysphagia, fecal incontinence, gastrointestinal gas, gastrointestinal stromal tumor, hemorrhoids and hepatitis C.
