Family Nurse Practitioner Emily Ferguson Joins Deaconess Clinic Family Medicine - St. Charles

Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center is pleased to announce the addition of Family Nurse Practitioner Emily Ferguson to the staff of Deaconess Clinic Family Medicine - St. Charles in Jasper.  Family nurse practitioners are advanced practice registered nurses who are educated and trained to provide health promotion and maintenance through the diagnosis and treatment of acute illness as well as chronic health conditions. Family nurse practitioners conduct history and physical exams, and may order diagnostic tests and medical treatments, including prescribing medications. 

Ferguson received her master’s in nursing from Maryville University in Saint Louis, Missouri and her bachelor’s in nursing from University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and most recently worked at Deaconess Clinic at Work in Evansville. Ferguson played NCAA Division 1 women’s softball for University of Evansville and is a volunteer softball coach at Southridge High School in Huntingburg, Indiana.
